Expecting Part 2

Here's part 2 :)

Expecting: Part 2

"...Justin...?" I looked at him with worry but he was still shaking his head.

"How could this happen? We always use protection. I just..." His words trailed off and tears started to form in his eyes.

"Aren't you excited about this, though?"

"(YN), how the hell can I be excited about this? We're almost 20 years old! I'm still touring! You know how hard this is gonna be?! I don't want the baby..."

"How can you say that? It hasn't even been born yet! Please, take a chance!"

"If I take that chance then my career is going to go down the drain! Our lives will be even more crazy and hectic!" He yelled at me.

"Look, this won't be easy but we're going to have this baby and give it an amazing life it deserves," I said to him calmly. I knew this wouldn't go well!

"This is ridiculous. There's no way in hell we're having that baby, (YN)!" He kept shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Can't we just wait and make a decision later? Come on, let's try to be civil, here! I made this nice dinner to tell you that I'm pregnant, not to get yelled at! I'd thought you'd be happy, Justin! You love kids!" I soon found myself raising my voice at him, too.

"Who put you in charge?" He asked me coldly.

"I never said I was in charge. You're not either! We're in this together. Justin, I-" He got up from his seat and furiously went upstairs. The bedroom door slammed and I was left alone at the table. I couldn't help but cry, but I didn't know why I was crying; the fact that I'm pregnant or the fact that Justin Thank you for the comments in part 1!

I couldn't help but cry, but I didn't know why I was crying; the fact that I'm pregnant or the fact that Justin doesn't want this baby and doesn't want to become a father.
After trying to gather myself together, I started to clean up everything. After putting out the candles, I sat in the living room, trying to think of the best way to handle everything.

It was midnight now and I decided to go get my pj's from upstairs. I quietly opened the door and found Justin asleep in bed. There's no way I'm sleeping in the same room with him tonight! After changing into my pyjamas, I climbed into the guest bedroom bed, and rested my head on the cold pillow, trying my best to not cry myself to sleep.

~The Next Morning~

"We're NOT going to have that baby. This whole thing completely bogus."
I heard Justin say downstairs to someone. It was 12 in the afternoon and I must've slept in. I got out of bed and tip-toed my way to the top of the stairs. I sat down on a step and tried my best to listen in on the conversation.

"You know you don't mean that, Justin! A baby is a blessing." I heard Scooter tell Justin.

"*sigh* Maybe you're right..."

"And (YN) is right, too. Talk to her and work everything out. Everything will be fine in the end! Look, I have to go to a meeting but remember what I said, alright?"

"Alright. See ya." Justin said goodbye to Scooter as he left and he closed the door. I heard him wall toward the stairs and I quickly ran back to the room and got in bed.

"Babe, you awake?" He asked while gently knocking on the door.

"Yeah..." He peeked his head in before walking to the bed.

"Hey," he said to me while he sat down next to me.

"Hi," I looked down at my hands and sighed.

"How are you doing?"

"Fine," I said flatly.

"Look, (YN)...I'm terribly sorry for what I said." I looked back up at him and his eyes started to get red and moist. "I know this sounds untrue, but I didn't mean anything I said. I was just so furious and I was acting like a total douchebag. I'm selfish, inconsiderate, stupid, and-"

"Justin, calm down! You're not any of those things. I was really upset because I thought you hated this baby already and wanted me to take care of it by myself..." I felt my own eyes get watery, too.

"This is OUR baby, and we're BOTH gonna take care of it, regardless of how tough things get. It's gonna be hard but I know we can make things work. I know we can," he whispered softly to me. I gently wiped the tears off his warm cheeks with my thumbs and held his face in my hands.

"I love you," I whispered to him.
"I love you, too, (YN)," he brought our lips together with a smile.

...

Month after month, my stomach started to grow bigger. We told our parents first, who were too overjoyed to even speak when we first told them at the time. We told our families, friends, and of course, Justin told his accepting and wonderful fans.

"Miss (your last name)?" A nurse called out in the waiting room. Justin and I followed the nurse to a room. We were at the doctors and it was time for my first ultrasound and to find out what the baby's gender is!

"Lay right there, please," said my doctor after she came inside. I laid down on the recliner and the doctor lifted up my shirt. She put on this gel in different spots before using the ultrasound machine.

"There's the head...and the legs...and the arms," She pointed on the screen.

"Oh my gosh..." Justin said. He looked down at me and held my hand with a smile.

"Do you two want to know the gender?" The doctor asked. We both nodded our heads and the doctor looked back to the screen.

"It's a girl, congratulations!"
Justin and I looked at each other with excitement and shock.

"I can't believe we're going to be parents!" I said happily to him.

...

Justin and I were watching TV when suddenly, I felt a sharp pain. I kept having more and more in my stomach.

"(YN), what's wrong?" Justin asked with worry.

"I think... I'm going to have the baby..." I tried to say. His eyes got wide and his jaw dropped.

"Justin! Get the suitcase!" I scremed.
He ran up the stairs and I tried to make my way to the car. I buckled my seatbelt and took deep, slow breaths to try to ease the pain.

"Let's go have this baby!' He smiled at me after he got in the car.

It seemed like forever until we made it to the hospital! When we got inside the waiting room, a nurse gave me a wheelchair to sit on. We were rushed into a maternity emergency room to prepare for the birth.

I changed into a hospital gown and sat on the bed. The doctors insterted tubes in my arms and gave me painkillers. Justin was by my side through the whole process while holding my hand. My contractions were right on top of each other, giving me pain for each one. Sweat was covering my forehead and I braced for the delivery.

"Alright, (YN), I need you to push for me, okay?" The doctor had my legs spread open, ready to help pull out the baby. I nodded and still held Justin's hand.

"And push!" The doctor exclaimed.
I pushed with all my might, screaming in pain. I gripped Justin's hand so hard and I actually thought I would break it!
I soon heard some faint crying.

"The head's out, push more!' The doctor told me.

"Come on, babe, I'm right here." Justin kissed my lips before I started pushing again. After giving my final push, the screaming became louder.

"Congratulations! You've given birth to a healthy baby girl!" The doctor gave Justin scissors to cut the cord and after, they cleaned my baby and wrapped her in pink blankets. I held the little warm bundle in my arms and soon got tears in my eyes.

"What do you wanna name her?" I asked Justin. He also had tears in his eyes and he was gently stroking her head.

"Hmm... How about (your choice of a name)?"

"Perfect. Just perfect." I joined our lips and I knew this was going to be the start of an incredible journey with our new family.

THE END.
