Found: 21: California Bound.

As you can see I don't post yesterday! That was specifically a choice I made haha. From now on, I'm going to try my best to post every other day. Hopefully you don't mind, but don't you think it's a little too much for me posting everyday? Now I hope I don't get any bad comments about this, because I literally will give in because that's my personality, but I seriously need to stop posting everyday. Too much stress for me. Plus, I haven't even written the next chapter, so that's another reason!
Anyyywwaaayyyss, 8 comments for next chapter?(;

Chapter 21:

@(yourusername): heading home to do a concert, I’ve missed home so much. #believetour
“Whatcha doing?” Justin said as he peeked over my shoulder.
“Just updating my fans.”
Justin sat back with his arm around me and I locked my phone. I couldn’t help but smile at my wallpaper. It was of us just fooling around, and I liked it the most because it was a picture just between us. No one knew about it, and it was kept secret.
These past few weeks had been way fun, but stressful. It was hard not going home all of the time, and after a while this whole tour idea wasn’t sounding very great to me. I mean I loved doing this with Justin, but it was like the same thing all of the damn time. Sit in a bus for hours at a time, sleeping or sitting around, then staying in a hotel until the concert started, then the concert, then after the concert back to the bus. That’s how it’d been for the past few weeks… Justin said that it would change after a while seeing we we’re going different places and doing different things. Well hopefully it would, because this was only sorta fun now. But, my birthday was in just a little bit over a week on October 31st which was a plus. Yup, my birthday was on the day of the dead, Halloween. But it was fun, especially when I was little. I wondered how it would turn out this year.
We arrived in Minneapolis and I immediately got excited. It was 5:00am but I was wide awake and excited. The sun was just peeking over the horizon as the buses drove to the arena. Our bus parked inside like usual and the others just outside. The ropes and everything were already set up and everything was secure, yet the concert wasn’t until tomorrow night. Well, these people were prepared, now weren’t they?
We stepped out in the arena and before we could even stretch, we were all packed into a car and driven off to a hotel. I leaned my head on Justin because even though I was excited, I was annoyed.
“I hope that you didn’t get us a hotel room.” I said as I looked up to Justin.
“Don’t worry, I didn’t. We’re just going to chill here until we can get a ride back to your house.”
“Why can’t we get dropped off?”
“I don’t know, these people are stubborn.”
I rolled my eyes and we arrived at the hotel, everyone could tell that I was being bitchy because I was so anxious. The anticipation was killing me. We went upstairs after everyone got their rooms keys and we headed upstairs. We were just going to sit around in Scooter’s room for a while until we got everything situated. This day had been actually going great so far, I was just waiting for something to mess it up like usual.
I plopped down on one of the beds in Scooter’s room and closed my eyes. What were we going to do today? There was so much and finally we could just chill and ugh this was exciting! Justin laid down over me and I squinted my eyes open to see him smiling down at me.
“Yes?” I asked with a giggle.
“Nothing, just staring at my beautiful girlfriend.”
I laughed and he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. The only interruption was Scooter clearing his throat. Justin got off of me and I sat up right away and fixed my hair.
“(YN), I have some sad news for you guys.” Scooter alarmed us as he set his phone down.
I started to get worried, what could this possibly be? Oh god, I knew that something was going to go wrong eventually, and it had to be now when I was actually happy.
“(YN), you are needed in LA to begin recording some of those songs you’ve written and some others. Your part in the tour will be replaced by Cody Simpson until we get everything settled and you’re done recording, which could last over a month.”
I looked at Justin who had a straight face, the pervious smile completely gone, and mine was too. I looked away and down towards the ground. Of course, I had to leave Justin already. This sucked, and I couldn’t even be with him for my birthday..
“Can’t we do it later? Like a week later?” I begged.
“I’m sorry, you can switch studios and have it here at home if you want, but other than that we can’t change things.”
Justin sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulders. At least I could stay home while I recorded, and that’s what I told Scooter that I was going to do.
“Well, I can still visit Justin right?” I asked.
“Of course!”
I smiled slightly, “Alright, when do we start?”
“Well, I would say today, but today is your day off. You don’t have to come to the concert either. I’m sure you’d like to visit with your family and everything.”
I smiled once more thinking about my family. Finally I’d get to see them, and Tyler! I missed him so much; I wondered what he was up to… Probably just chilling at home and watching TV and doing homework. Ha, I had online school, and it was way easier. I just wanted to go now, but I didn’t want to leave Justin. I guess I didn’t have to yet, he could come with me to my house for a little bit.
“It’s already 8:00am, can we head to my house now?” I asked Scooter as I stood up cheerily.
“Actually… Justin has some things to do today, and he has to begin right away. Is that okay with you guys?”
“No, not really, if I’m not going to see her for a while I’d like to spend time with her now.” Justin interrupted.
“Justin, it’s fine, I’ll see you tonight before you head to the next concert.”
Justin sighed and put his arms around me as he stood up. He held me tight for as long as he could before I had to leave. He escorted me downstairs and I kissed him goodbye before pulling slowly away.
“I’ll see you as soon as possible; it won’t be long at all.” Justin reassured me.
“I- I’ll miss you.” I stuttered.
“Don’t cry, and don’t worry. I’ll see you in less than a week, and I’ll be there for your birthday, alright?”
I nodded and let go of him, backing away and heading outside to my mom’s car waiting for me. There were only a few cameras here so far, but they still caught pictures of me within the seconds I was outside. I buckled up right away and turned to my mom with a slight smile.
“I’m so glad to see you!” my mom said cheerily as we hugged over the center console.
“Me too. Do you have anything planned for us today? I’m sure Scooter told you the news before he told me.”
“Actually, I thought maybe you could go to the studio right away to get some things done.”
“But today’s my day off I don’t-“
“Honey, in this business there’s no days off. Get used to it, you’re famous. Now let’s take pictures together so that I can post them on my Instagram.”
My mom leaned over with her phone but I pushed her away. She wasn’t acting like my mom, she was acting different. I knew exactly what had happened; the fame had gone to her head. She just wanted to be famous, she was just going to use me… My own mother…
“Honey, what’s the problem?” she asked as she backed away.
“You’re the problem, mom. You’re the one who wants to be famous, not me. You did this for yourself, you brought me to Atlanta, knowing that I’d get somewhere just so that you could get somewhere. Well I’m not doing this anymore! If I have to give up my career to get my mom back, I will.”
“You wouldn’t dare give it all up.” She fought back.
“Oh but I would. Look at you, you’re dressing different, acting different, just everything about you is different. I’m done, mom, if you can’t act normal, you can’t be a part of my career.”
“I am normal, you’re just overreacting. You need to calm down and stop acting crazy. I’m simply helping you; you won’t get anywhere without me.”
I took a deep breath and stared into her eyes. She was using me, I was right. I didn’t understand why… I mean I never asked for this, my whole day was ruined already by leaving Justin, and on top of it this. I shook my head before opening the door and getting out of the car. I slammed the door behind me and she rolled the window down.
“Get back in the car right now!” she yelled.
“Dad wouldn’t have done this to me.” I said back.
She parted her lips slightly and I knew that that hit one of her soft spots. I backed away and turned to the flashing cameras around me and the people shouting out questions. I wasn’t sure what to do or where to go, but I needed to get a ride to Tyler’s house. I walked right up to one of the paps and he put his camera down as I spoke to him directly.
“Would you mind giving me a ride to a friends?” I asked.
“N-No not at all.” He stuttered.
He looked only in his early twenties. He was young for doing this kinda work. I followed him quickly to his car just on the other side of the street. I got in the passenger seat and buckled up before we pulled off. It was a quiet ride, but eventually we got to Tyler's house.
“Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. How can I repay you?” I asked as I unbuckled.
“Can I just get a few pictures with you?” he asked.
“Sure!” I cheerily said.
We stepped out of the car and took a few pictures together; some silly and some just smiling. He seemed like the happiest person on earth as he left. I just laughed and walked up to Tyler’s door and knocked. I waited there for about a minute before Tyler’s mom answered. She looked kinda sad, which was odd.
“What’s wrong?” I asked worriedly.
“Tyler didn’t tell you? He left for school this morning. He got a scholarship somewhere in Europe and it was a last minute thing.” She informed me.
I stood there, stunned that he didn’t tell me. I guess seeing that he just found out yesterday and left today, that could be why he didn’t tell me. But Tyler told me everything; I’d call him later then and talk to him.
I headed home and went straight upstairs to my room. It was the same way I’d left it and I plopped down on my bed with a sigh. I locked my door behind me, because I knew that my mom was going to bug me once she got here. I sighed and dialed Tyler’s number, but no answer. I guess he was busy or something. Maybe unpacking in his new home or something. I’ll call my other friends then, to see if they wanna hang out today or something. I knew that they had today off of school, so they’d probably wanna chill.
“Hey! What are you doing today?” I asked Ade as she answered the phone.
“I’m throwing a party, actually.”
“Oh, would you mind if I came over?” I asked cheerily as I filed my nails.
“Um, actually yes. I’m sorry (YN), not a lot of people want you here. Nobody really wants anything to do with you in fact.”
That hit me, hard. My hands were shaking as I dropped my phone on the bed. Looks like I had absolutely no friends left… not here, not anywhere. Now that Tyler was gone, and everything else hated me, I only had Justin and his crew. Hopefully I could see Justin soon, because I knew it wouldn’t be tonight. I was leaving for California.
