This post is about what happened yesterday in Connecticut.
If you haven't heard the news, here's what happened-
A man in his 20's went to an elementry school and killed and injured about 20 or 30 people (I can't remember how many). He first killed his mother, a teacher. Police say he most likely had mental issues. The majority of people he killed were small children. This breaks my heart because the children and the adults didn't deserve to die. The kids had their whole lives ahead of them. I believe they were mostly 5,6 or 7. Imagine waking your child up in the morning for school, feeding them breakfast, making them their favorite lunch, letting them pick out an outfit, and fixing their hair. Imagine saying "goodbye, have a great day at school! I'll be here to pick you up later. I love you" and giving them a kiss and a hug and waving to them. The last time you would talk to them and the last time you would touch them. They didn't even live to lunchtime. Instead of planning a Christmas, relatives have to plan their funeral. They won't be able to open what they wanted for Christmas. It's depressing to think that many watched their bestfriends and favorite teacher die before their eyes. It's depressing that we live in a world like this.
The teachers risked their own lived to protect their students and they are true hero's. There was also a little girl who protected her little sister from being shot by risking her life.
After the man killed the victims, he took his own life.

Sorry to bring you down by reading this but this is the world we're living in right now, sadly. Please pray, and please let people know how much you care about them. You just never know.
