5:00am

“(YN), wake up beautiful.”

I groaned and turned my head away from the source of noise interrupting my sleep. I was blinded by light coming from a window and I opened my eyes and turned back towards the voice. Justin was smiling as he sat next to me. I smiled back and yawned.

“Where are we?” I asked as I stretched my arms up.

The seat that I was in was definitely comfortable and I could understand why I wasn’t willing to wake up anytime soon. Justin looked behind him before turning back towards me and laughing.

“We’re in Miami baby.”

“What?”

I sat up immediately and stared out the window of the jet. Oh, that’s right. We left last night, but everything seemed to be a blur to me. Justin touched my arm lightly causing me to jump and shoot my look back to him.

“Are you okay?” he said with a worrisome expression.

“I-I’m fine. I guess I just didn’t realize that this was actually happening.” I said as I looked down in sadness.

I was glad to leave my dad, but I knew that he’d hate me if he found out, which he was going to in some time. I grabbed Justin’s phone that was still in the cup holder and checked the time. 5:10am. Well, we made good time on getting here, but I’d never actually done this type of thing before so I was amazed.

“Are you ready to go to the hotel?” Justin asked as he stood up and held out a hand.

I grabbed it and he pulled me up and I fell into him. He held me tightly around my waist and smiled down on me. He could tell that I was still upset about my phone and my dad and everything.
“It’s okay.” He said, “It’ll all be okay.”

He kissed my forehead and I weakly smiled. We exited the plane with our bags and I followed close behind Justin. Quite a few bulky men came to our sides and surrounded us. I grabbed Justin’s arm and he stopped and turned back towards me.

“Is something wrong?” he asked frantically.

“Who are these people?” I said as I looked at them out of the corner of my eye.

“Bodyguards. The airport is gonna be hectic because people know I’m here, so be ready to hide your face and run.”

I nodded slightly and took his words into consideration. Oh god, his fans were going to see that he had a girl with him. This wasn’t the best idea, but I’m sure he’d clear it up on twitter or something. They already knew about me but me travelling with him? That may not go over well, but whatever. I liked him and he liked me, it was the same as two non-famous people! Well I wasn't famous people just knew me, but whatever.

We stepped into the crowded airport of screaming girls and as soon as I saw Justin duck his head and hide his face, I did the same. Justin reached his hand back to hold mine, but I was hesitant about doing it. What would people think? They would think that we were dating. And that wouldn’t be good, at least it wouldn’t be yet. I grabbed his hand anyways and followed close behind him in fear of being trampled by girls. So many flashes threatened to blind me but I closed my eyes and trusted Justin.

When we finally got out of the airport, I uncovered my face and Justin pulled me in front of him, pushing me forward towards the awaiting car. I got in and slid across the seat quickly with Justin following.

“What are you gonna do?” I asked him as I caught my breath.

He knew exactly what I was talking about and closed his eyes and shook his head. “You know what, I don’t really care what they say. I’ll eventually crush the rumors but for now, who cares?”

I smiled and he scooted closer to me and put his arm around me. I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my tired eyes. I could feel his breathing slow down gradually.

“Justin, we aren’t dating, you know that right?” I reminded him.

“Yeah, but we will be soon.”

I smiled and snuggled up closer to him with my eyes still closed.

We arrived at the hotel and got settled in our room. We had one of the top floors and the view was amazing. I stared out of the window for just minutes before Justin pulled me away to lay down on the bed with him. He could sense that I was tired from the flight and crying so he laid down with me and cuddled me into his chest. I felt so welcome with him around and everything felt right.

“We can get you a new phone today, alright?” Justin asked.

I nodded and nestled my head farther into his collar bone, lying there peacefully. Time passed and I eventually drifted to sleep, but my dreams weren’t as peaceful as reality so I woke up constantly. I finally just laid awake and stared at the blank ceiling. I felt more guilt than I ever had before. I checked the time and it was already passed the time my dad got home. Once he realized that I wasn’t coming home from school, he’d worry and go looking for me. Then he’d soon realize from the news that I was with Justin.

“You think too much.”

I looked up to see Justin staring at me with a blank expression on his face. I sighed and sat up with Justin doing the same.

“I know.” I mumbled.

“I can’t help but feel that this is all of my fault.” Justin said quietly.

“It’s not,” I said turning to him, “don’t ever think that, because it’s not your fault.”

He smiled and I smiled back, I didn’t want him having this pressure on him too. And it really wasn’t his fault, he needed to stop blaming himself.

He grabbed his phone and checked his messages and everything before getting out of bed and changing into an outfit for the day. I wondered what we were doing that we needed to get dressed dressed I got dressed too and left my hair down and did everything else I needed to. Justin waited patiently in the bedroom for me, sitting on his phone. I walked out of the bathroom and he locked his phone right away and walked towards me.

“Are you ready?” he asked as he held my hands in his, swinging them back and forth.

“Ready for what?” I asked cheerily.

“To meet the crew, and well, get a new phone hopefully today. If we don't have time we will get one tomorrow for sure.”

My features tightened and I gave him a confused look. Meet his crew? Oh god, what if they didn’t like me? I didn’t want to, but I knew that I would have to eventually. I sighed and he grabbed my hand and led me out of the room and out of the hotel. There were cameras and some fans outside that Justin stopped and said hi to before we got into a car. There were 2 people in there who I suspected were bodyguards, but they were obviously more than that to Justin by the way he greeted them.

“(YN), this is Kenny and Moshe. Kenny, Moshe, this is my friend (YN). She’s staying with me for some time.” Justin introduced me.

I shook hands with them before sitting back in my seat and smiling at Justin. Well, I knew that we were just friends around his crew now which cleared some of my questions up.

“Justin.” Kenny said as he turned his head at an angle with a huge smile on his face.

I was confused really confused. I looked at Justin and he was blushing and shaking his head.

“No, no, stop!” Justin laughed as he shook his head simultaneously.

I sat back and just wondered into my own little world, letting them have their little ‘bro’ time. I wondered what the rest of the crew was going to be like if even his body guards were amazingly kind. I snapped out of my little trance when Justin snapped his fingers in front of my face.

“(YN), we’re here.” He laughed, “Are you there?”

“W-What? I mean yeah.” I said giving him a reassuring smile.

He smiled back and grabbed my hand, leading us out of the van. We walked into a large restaurant, racing past the crowds of people outside. I just ducked my head and followed close behind Justin. We went all the way to the back of the restaurant and stopped at a table full of people. Justin turned to me and smiled before he spoke up.

“Everyone,” he began as everyone quieted down and shot there eyes towards me and Justin, “Seeing you’re all going to ask, this is (YN). She’s a friend of mine and I thought I’d bring her with me here.”

Everyone just stared at me and/or smiled. A short lady, even shorter than me, stood up and opened her arms, offering me a hug. I slowly held up my arms and hugged her back. She embraced me tightly and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Any friend of Justin’s is a friend of ours.” She said as she pulled away and smiled, putting her hands on my shoulders, “I’m his mom, Pattie.”

Now it all made sense. She was his mom and that’s why she was being so friendly. I made an ‘O’ with my mouth and nodded.

“I can tell. Thanks for welcoming me, you really are nice.” I laughed.

“Yeah, that’s how we are. Actually-“

“Mom,” Justin laughed, “We should probably sit down and order before you start going into your stories.”

She rolled her eyes and shook her head before greeting Justin with a hug and a kiss. Ugh, wanted to kiss him right now so badly, it hurt. I envied her so much at the moment.

We sat down and I sat between Justin and some other stranger who turned out to be Justin’s best friend Alfredo Flores. He was genuinely nice and told me who everyone was while Justin caught up with people.

“That’s Scooter, Justin’s manager. Scrappy is his stage manager, that’s DJ Tay who is- well obviously his DJ, I’m his videographer, that’s-“

“That’s Usher.” My jaw dropped.

“Yeah” Alfredo laughed.

He continued to go on about who everyone was and I just zoned out realizing that I was at a table with Justin Bieber, Usher Mondiv, AND Carly Rae Jepsen. This was the craziest experience ever!

“Are you there?” Alfredo asked as he waved a hand in front of my face.

“Yeah,” I said jumping, “I was just thinking. I’m gonna go to the bathroom, I’ll be right back.

I stood up and set my napkin back on the table before I headed to the bathroom on the other side of the restaurant. I looked back once to see them all talking and laughing as they had previously been. I really felt welcomed by all of them, and there was a lot of them. I stepped into the cold bathroom and checked myself in the mirror. After going to the bathroom, I washed my hands and dried them. While I was drying my hands, Carly walked in and smiled at me.

“(YN)! I actually wanted to talk to you.”

Oh shit, I thought. Usually when a pretty girl walks into a bathroom and approaches you, she hates you. This wasn’t good, and I was kinda scared. I threw away the paper towel and smiled back, asking what she wanted to talk to me about.

“I was just wondering Are you and Justin you know?”

I bit my lip and looked away, “Nope, strictly friends.”

“You’re lying, aren’t you?!” She laughed.

“No?” I said dumbly with a small giggle.

“I won’t tell anyone, don’t worry. Come on, we have a surprise for you.”

I tagged along as she dragged me back to the table. I had a feeling that we were going to get along well. I sat back down and Scooter, I think that was his name, stood up with his glass of wine and hit it gently with a fork.

“I’d like to make a toast, a toast to a new part of our crew, (YN).”

“What?” I said unknowingly.

Everyone grabbed their glasses and looked from me to Scooter. I was wondering why they welcomed me so fast! I mean I just met Justin a week ago and I was already a part of his crew? This was odd but it was definitely fun.

“(YN), seeing you’ll be staying with Justin for a while, we need to make you feel welcome. So, welcome to the family.”

Everyone clapped and clinked their glasses together before gulping them down. I laughed nervously and stared around at this amazing bunch of people. They were all so so kind! I couldn’t even think of a better word. Everyone started talking to me and it couldn’t have been a better welcoming to the Bieber Crew.

“So (YN),” Usher said, pointing his fork at me, “Tell us a little bit about yourself.”

I froze up and looked around. Oh geez, everyone was staring at me now. Even Justin was. I swallowed hard and just started talking about everything- well not everything, but just some simple things about myself.

“I’ll actually be 18 in two days, which is pretty exciting.” I added at the end.

“Well then we have to celebrate!?” he yelled.

I blushed a little and looked at him crazily, “Celebrate?”

“Of course. Now that you’re a part of the team, we have to do something for you, and a birthday party is just the perfect start.”

Chapter 5:

Monday, April 9th, 2012

6:00am

My eyes fluttered open and I yawned quietly. I took in a strong whiff of cologne and I widened my vision to see Justin right in front of me. My head was laid against his chest and he was breathing calmly. He was still sleeping, but I had to get up for school. I tried moving his arm from around me but he tightened his hold. I smiled and shook my head. I slipped under his arm and stood up, stretching my arms towards the ceiling. Within a minute Justin was opening his eyes and searching the bed for me. He sat up and scratched his head, the blanket falling off of his chest.

“Why are you up?” he said in a groggy voice as he scratched his head.

“I have to go to school, remember?” I laughed.

I went to the other side of the room and searched my closet for an outfit to wear today, picking out something simple for the first day of my second week. I changed quickly in the bathroom, throwing my hair up into a messy bun and throwing on a bit of make-up to go with. I walked out to find Justin laying with his eyes closed yet again. I was sure he fell back asleep. I smiled and ran over to my bed, quietly and slowly crawling towards him to scare him. Little did I know that he was still awake and a smirk aroused on his face. He grabbed my wrists and flipped me over so that he was on top of me. I laughed quietly and tried wriggling from his hold but he didn’t let go.

“Never let someone catch you off guard.” He laughed.

He let go of me and leaned down, pecking my lips. I blushed and sat up with him, grabbing my phone and checking it.

“What are your plans for today?” I asked as I locked my phone.

“I’ll probably chill at home and text you.” He smiled deviously at me.

“Okay then.” I dragged my words out with a smile.

I stood up and checked the time. 6:45am. I had to leave in 15 minutes. I messed around with Justin until then but the time seemed to pass more quickly than I wanted. I saw that it was 7 and I grabbed my bag and threw it over my shoulder.

“I can sneak you out of the front door, Clarissa isn’t up yet.” I said as he wrapped his arms around me, not wanting me to leave.

“Alright.”

I opened my door and made sure it was clear in the hallway before we ran for the stairs and stumbled down them. I couldn’t stop laughing at how loud and clumsy we were being. We got to the door and I put on some shoes. As I stood up and looked at Justin, his face went straight with no expression whatsoever.

“Justin?” I whispered. “Is something-“

I turned around to see Clarissa standing in the kitchen doorway with a cup of coffee. I swallowed hard and closed my eyes, hoping it was all just an illusion. But it wasn’t, because we both saw her standing there in front of us.

“Clarissa please-“

“I won’t say a word.” She smiled warmly.

I started breathing normally again and turned back to Justin, pushing him out of the door in front of me. Thank God Clarissa was on my side or I’d die. I pushed him all the way to the driveway before he stopped and turned back towards me.

“Let me drive you to school.” He said with a smile.

“Nope, not happening. How will I get home?” I asked.

“I’ll pick you up silly, your dad won’t find out.”

I sighed, “Justin, if I get in trouble-“

“We’re leaving soon anyways.” He interrupted me.

I rolled my eyes and we crossed the street, opening his garage, and walking in. I got in the passenger seat of his chrome colored car and sunk into the comfortable seat. It was a much nicer site in the daylight than at midnight. Justin got in after me and we pulled out of the driveway and flew down the road, on our way to my school.

The tinted windows made everything look dark and the only way to see clearly was through the windshield. When we arrived at school, I was upset to leave him yet again. I kissed him goodbye before getting out of the car and heading into the building I dreaded.

Time flew while I was in school and it was over before it started. I was the first one out of the doors and down the sidewalk. That may have been because I had a bunch of screaming freshman behind me, racing me to Justin’s car, but hey, I was still first. I approached his car and jiggled the handle. It was locked and he fumbled with the buttons before it finally opened. I barely shut the door before girls trampled each other to get a view of the famous Justin Bieber.

“Oh my God.” I said breathing fast as he drove forward slowly.

“Yeah, it happens every day usually.” Justin said normally. “So how was school?” he changed the subject.

“It was- well you saw. It was like that every time the bell rang and I walked out of class. Everyone wants to talk to Justin’s Bieber’s friend.” I laughed.

“Well, guess what? No more of that because I got us tickets and we are out of here tonight!”

“Really?!” I said excitedly.

“Yup! I need you to meet me outside my house at 11:00pm and we’ll be off.”

I sat back and rested my head on the headrest, closing my eyes in relief. I was so glad that we were leaving tonight. The rest of the car ride seemed so peaceful and quiet, although it really wasn’t. We blasted music and yelled things to each other and sang. It all ended when we got closer to home though, we had to calm down. We pulled into Justin’s driveway and sat in the car. I waited until I saw the bus coming to leave.

“I’ll see you tonight?” Justin said with a smile as he leaned over and kissed my cheek.

“I’ll meet you here.”

I smiled widely before running across the street and sneaking around the bus, making it look like I got off. I walked slowly up to my door with my head phones in and my music playing. When I reached for the door, it swung open and I stumbled forward a bit. My dad was glaring down at me and he looked infuriated. What now? Did Clarissa tell him? He ripped my headphones out of my ears, grabbed my phone, and threw it at the wall inside in anger. My jaw dropped and I felt tears coming to my eyes as I pushed past him and fell to the ground, grabbing the pieces of my phone.

“What is wrong with you!?” I yelled as I looked up at him.

“I told you not to see him again! You disobeyed me! He was here last night and you lied to me!” My dad screamed back.

I stood up and wiped away my tears with the back of my hand, grasping my phone in the other. He didn’t even look like he felt bad for making me cry, he just looked pissed.

“Because you don’t understand! He makes me happy dad! I- I HATE YOU!” I screamed back.

“You’re done! You’re grounded as long as you live here! And if I ever- EVER see him again, I’ll kill him.”

I pushed passed him and took my broken phone with me upstairs. There was no way to fix it, part of it broke off and the screen was completely shattered, barely any glass left to cover the screen. I slammed my door and locked it behind me, throwing my backpack down and grabbing a suitcase. I went to my closet and put just about everything I could fit in there with all of my necessities. I zipped it shut and wiped away more of my tears. I shoved it under my bed for now and sat next to my bed crying even more. I couldn’t even talk to Justin and even worse, I didn’t know how my dad found out.

I threw things, in anger, across the room. I only stopped when I heard a calm knock on my door. It definitely wasn’t my dad, so it had to be Clarissa. I got up and unlocked the door, letting her in.

“What do you want? You already betrayed me.” I sniffled.

“Look, it wasn’t me. I don’t know if you’ll ever believe me either, but I’m hoping so. Your dad checked the cameras when he got home. I begged him to leave it alone, but he refused. I’ve been where you are before and it’s not fun. I want your life to be better than mine was.”

I closed my eyes and tears fell to the ground. I just waited, waited for her to leave. She eventually did without saying anything further and I slammed my door once again.

The time finally came after hours and hours of waiting and I grabbed my suitcase. I slipped on my last pair of shoes that were unpacked and grabbed my phone charger. I didn’t have a phone but I was sure I’d get another one. I packed away all of the money I’d ever saved up, which had to be a lot after 15 years. I quietly opened my bedroom door and looked down at my dad’s bedroom. He was gone and Clarissa was sleeping, so the coast was clear. I crept downstairs and made little to no noise in the process. I set my suitcase down by the door and stepped outside, grabbing a nice sized rock. I aimed with one eye open and hurdled the rock at the outside camera. I heard it shatter slightly and I felt satisfied. No other cameras would be able to see me as I left, so I was clear.
I grabbed my suitcase and rolled it behind me as I rushed down the driveway and across the empty road. I ran up Justin’s driveway just as he stepped outside. He ran to me and grabbed my bag, shoving it in the trunk of his car.

“Hey, are you oaky?” he asked as he put his hand under my chin, moving me to face him, “You’ve been crying.”

“Never mind can we just leave? I begged.

He dropped his hands and ran to the other side of the car, getting in himself. I buckled myself up and leaned back, tiredness overcoming my emotions. I stayed awake as best I could the whole ride to the airport, even though it was killing me to.

We got to the airport and dragged our bags behind us. We finished the whole process of being checked and I followed close behind Justin as we walked through the gates.

“Justin, don’t you usually wait for your flight?” I asked confused.

“Not when you have to have a private jet.” He laughed.

A private jet? That sounded pretty awesome, don’t get me wrong, but I was too tired to care. I followed him up the stairs of the jet and looked back once, waving goodbye to California for a while. I stepped on the plane and literally fell in the nearest seat. I closed my eyes right away and started drifting to sleep. I could feel Justin picking me up and moving me, but I was too tired to open my eyes and look, but I didn’t mind as long as we were together.

Chapter 4:

Sunday, April 8th, 2012

10:00pm

I put my reading glasses on and my eyes followed my finger, scanning each page of the book. I had been cooped up in this house since Thursday and I hadn’t talked to Justin since then either. My dad had my phone locked somewhere and hidden well. I looked for it constantly when he was gone and surprisingly, my step-mom helped. She was on my side completely because she said that she had once been in my place. I was beginning to like her even more.

I grabbed my backpack and shoved my book back in there, along with all of my finished homework. It wasn’t that much seeing I only had one class with actual homework and that was French, the rest were electives. I set it down next to my bed and sighed. I hated homework and all of the stress that came with it. It wasn’t helping the fact that I was already upset. Justin probably hated me because it seemed like I was ignoring him. I laid back, took my glasses off and set them on my bedside table, and closed my eyes. Just as I got comfortable, I heard a light knock on my balcony doors. I hopped up quickly and strode towards it, my heart beating. I didn't usually get visitors at such a late hour. When I pulled back the curtains, I saw Justin standing there smiling weakly. His bangs were brushed down and he was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

“Justin…” I whispered as I scrambled to unlock the door.

He grabbed me and held me in his arms immediately upon opening the door. I felt warmness when he touched me and the smell of his cologne filled the room. I didn’t even care if my dad found out that he was here, at least I got to see him again.

“Where have you been? I’ve been texting you like crazy.” Justin whispered as quietly as possible. I could barely make out his words myself he was unbelievably quiet.

“My dad has my phone and I’m grounded. I’m not supposed to see you again.” I said with a crack in my voice.

Even when I wasn’t with Justin, I was developing feelings for him. It was like every day I hadn't seen him, the more my feelings took over.

Call me crazy, but I really liked him, and maybe he didn’t see it, but I didn’t care. As long as I got to see him, I was happy and content.

“Well that’s unfortunate, I really thought he’d like me.” Justin joked.

I smiled although I was more nervous than ever, having him here. I wiggled out of his hold and ran to my door, locking it and making sure my dad couldn’t just walk in. I turned back to see Justin taking off his shoes and tucking them under my bed. I laughed quietly and walked back towards him.

“How long are you expecting to stay?” I smirked.

“Well, as long as I can.” He smiled as he pulled me in and held me tight again.

I rested my head on his chest. I couldn’t believe how close we were seeing we met only 3 days ago, practically 4 now . The only thing that I didn’t like, was that I had no idea where we stood on what we were. Friends or more than friends? By the way he held me, I’d say more than friends, but I felt like that was wrong because it's so soon. I didn’t think he knew either, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

I pulled away slowly and with his hands still resting on my lower back, I spoke up, well whispered, “Justin, are we friends?”

He looked at me confusingly, “Of course we’re friends-“

“I mean are we- just friends?”

A tense feeling filled the room as we stood staring at each other. His jawline tightened and he parted his lips as if he was going to speak, but the sound of footsteps interrupted us. I looked left and right and then shoved him towards my closet.

“Be quiet.” I urged him.

He held a finger up to his mouth motioning that he was going to be quiet and I silently shut the closet door behind me. I grabbed my bottle of air freshener and sprayed it everywhere in my room. I stopped just as I heard two knocks on my bedroom door. My heart was beating really fast as I unlocked the door, but I calmed myself as best I could.

“Hey honey,” my dad said, “look, I’m sorry, yet again, for grounding you, I just want you to stay away from- him. You’re still grounded until Thursday, then you’re free. Just none of him.

My dad wouldn’t even say his name he was so mad. I could tell that he was sincerely sorry, but he was still mad that Justin had kissed me and all. I took a deep breath and wrapped my arms around his neck, on my tippy toes hugging him.

“It’s okay, don’t be sorry, I understand.” I lied.

He hugged me back but he seemed hesitant. “You smell like col-“

Clean Linen?” I pointed to the can I was holding. “I just sprayed my room because it smelt funny to me.”

The look of suspicion remained on his face but he didn’t bother to finish his sentence. He stood and took in a second deep breath.

“Yeah, clean linen. Anyways, I’m working late shifts this week so my hours are shifted from 11:00pm until 9:00am, are you going to be okay with that?”

“Yeah, I’ll be fine and I’ll be at school mostly anyways.”

He kissed my forehead before heading to his room. I made sure his door was closed before I closed and locked mine. I waited just a few more seconds before letting Justin out of the closet. Good thing it was a walk in or he would’ve been cramped in there.

“Wow, that was close.” He whispered as he stepped out of the closet. “You know he was gonna say cologne, not clean linen right?”

“Yeah,” I laughed, “But I had to cover it up somehow.”

He smiled and we sat on my bed together, laying back and staring up at my illuminated plain ceiling. We never finished our conversation before my dad came in, and I was longing to hear his answer, but I didn’t want to ask again. I felt like that’d be weird because I’d be too pushy.

“You’re probably wondering what my answer to your question is, aren’t you?” Justin asked.

I turned my head to my right and looked him in the eyes, “How’d you know?”

“I can just tell.”

I laughed and he sat up and I followed. He fumbled with his fingers between his legs and I watched his every move. I was waiting impatiently for his answer and I was only hoping for the best.

“I don’t want to be- be just friends. But we just met and you don’t like the fame and I don’t want you to get hurt-“

“Justin, you’re already worried about something that may never happen. I won’t get hurt like everyone says, at least I don’t think- and besides, if I do I can handle it. Neither of us want to be just friends-“

“Is it too soon?” he asked.

“I guess it depends.” I mumbled sadly.

I didn’t want it to depend. I wanted the answer to his question to be no, it’s not too soon for us to be together. I just wanted to be with him, and for him to hold me. I longed for his touch now, and I couldn’t control it.

“Well, we couldn’t tell anybody for a while.” Justin added.

“And we’d have to deal with my dad.”

“And we have to wait until you’re done with school.”

Is there anything important holding us back?” I giggled quietly.

He turned to me and deeply laughed before his facial expression turned the opposite of his emotions. His jaw tightened once more and he looked serious. My heart was beating fast as I stared at him with glistened eyes.

“We’d have to leave.” He barely pushed the words out of his mouth.

My breath hitched in my throat. We would have to leave, because he isn’t normal. He’s famous. He has a career. I’d have to leave with him, but there was no way with my dad. I’d have to run away… but my dad would still find me with the cameras and the news and… I couldn't do it.

“I can’t.” I breathed out slowly.

“You can, when you’re 18 in 4 days we can leave, go to Miami and get away from this.

“Justin, how? How do I just leave school and m-my dad?” my voice cracked when the last word escaped my lips.

Justin gently placed his hand on my thigh and I felt the warmness from his touch once again. He moved his hand up and under my chin, moving my head up so that I was looking into his eyes.

“You’re cold.” He said quietly.

I swallowed hard and he moved closer to me, wrapping his arms around me and holding me tight to warm me up. I still felt cold, because I knew this wasn’t right. The feeling of adrenaline rushing through my veins while disobeying my dad was always followed by regret and guiltiness.

“I’m still in school too, my tutor wouldn’t mind tutoring you to, we’d just have to transfer your papers and everything. You’ll graduate at the same time as me, but at your high school.”

“Does your tutor teach French? Because that’s the only class I have.”

Justin’s face lit up. I was really confused, but I figured that his tutor definitely taught French. I couldn’t help but smile and brush my hair behind me ear, waiting for his response.

“Yeah, but I know French too. I can’t exactly teach you, but you can catch on if you’re around me.” Justin said excitedly in a low voice.

I laughed at him and I looked away shyly. There was no way that this was all going to work out, or was there? It would be crazy, but it definitely wouldn’t be impossible. I stayed shivering in his arms and we sat and talked about how we’d leave.

“My birthday’s on Thursday, but can we make it that long?” I asked.

“Let’s leave sooner. I’ll get us a flight within the next two days and we can leave where he can’t find us.”

“I- Okay.” I replied quietly.

My lip quivered and I looked down at the floor. I’d be leaving all of this behind, and may never see it again, but it’s a chance worth taking. I grabbed my phone and checked some of my accounts as I usually did at night. Justin and I were lying in bed now and he watched my every move. I scrolled down my Instagram feed aimlessly before stopping on a picture. It was of me giving a thumbs up and covered in paint. I smiled and looked at Justin, our faces just an inch apart.

“You called me beautiful and adventurous.” I whispered.

“That’s because you are, and you just don’t know it.”

I felt his lips brush mine and my breathing stopped. I leaned back as he leaned forward, our lips never apart. We moved in sync and I felt adrenaline and everything else you could possibly feel in a situation like this. I knew it was wrong, but it felt so right. I opened my eyes to catch a breath after a minute and looked into his caramel brown eyes.

“I don’t think it’s too soon, its perfect timing.” Justin said quietly, his voice sounding raspy.

I smiled and he laid his head next to mine, studying my features slowly. I didn’t feel self-conscious anymore because I knew that this was real. I could just feel it. Some people would’ve said that it’s just dumb young love and we don’t understand after 4 days, but I’d say that it’s real. More real than I myself would ever understand.

Chapter 3:

2:00pm

I smiled and shook my head at Justin who thought that this was all really funny. It was pretty funny and I couldn’t help but laugh myself.

“Well this was fun.” I said as we laid on the ground together.

We had to let the paint dry if we wanted to leave the room, so this may take a while. I turned my head towards him and looked at his messy, spotted with white hair. I couldn’t resist and I had to run my fingers through it. He smiled when I did and I rolled my eyes again at him.

“Do you wanna order a pizza or something? Or we could go out-“

“Let’s order a pizza.” I said right away.

Justin stood up and wobbled over to his phone and dialed a number before ordering a simple topping pizza. I sat up and he came and sat next to me, taking pictures in the meantime. I smiled in everyone and made funny faces. I even took a few of him with my phone.

“Can I put these ones on Instagram?” he begged.

“Let me think about that… nah.”

“Why?”

“I don’t want to be noticed. I wanna keep my profile on the down low and have the whole world NOT know my name. I don’t think I can handle it, like I said before.”

“Well, your friends with me, so.” Justin laughed.

“But I’m a girl. And when you have friends that are girls, they automatically become your girlfriends.” I defended myself.

“Fine. Buuuutttttt say we dated… then what?”

“If I really liked you, then yeah, I would do it for you. But that may never happen so…”

Justin made a pouty face minutes later, still begging to put the pictures on Instagram and twitter. I was still against it. I didn’t want his fans knowing about me just yet. I think… But wait, he mentioned dating me. OMG, he mentioned dating me! That means he’s thought about it before and that means… that means… that is CRAZY! I grabbed my phone and I couldn’t help but tweeting. @(yourusername): I’m covered in paint but today’s been great, now for some pizzzzaaaaaa with my new friend. (:

Just seconds later I got a notification saying Justin Bieber followed me. I looked over to him and smiled, receiving a smirk back. I immediately gained a few other followers who I knew eventually were going to ask me to DM him. I already had over 25K followers, so that was not going to get annoying as it might be, but whatever. Wait, oh shit... that means-

“Justin don’t!” I yelled as I tackled him, landing on top of him.

“Too late! I already clicked tweet!”

“You little shit.” I said as I sat on top of him, pinning his wrists down.

He laughed and I grabbed his phone from his hands, still sitting on him.@justinbieber: (in reply to your tweet) you started it! haha, you aren’t the only one covered in paint. (:

I couldn’t believe that he actually tweeted that to his tens of millions of followers. I groaned and stood up, giving his phone back to him as I did. I stood up and walked to the door like I was leaving. I heard Justin scramble up behind me.

“Wait you’re leaving!?” he yelled after me.

I didn’t answer and I reached for the knob of the door with a smirk on my face that he couldn’t see. Before I could open the door more than a foot. Justin was behind me, pressing his hand against the door so I couldn’t pull it open. It slammed shut and I turned around quickly, looking up into Justin’s eyes.

“Look, I’m sorry. I really shouldn’t have exposed you to my world of fame and I don’t know how to make it up to you but I will and I just- I just don’t-“

“Justin! Calm down!” I laughed. “I was just kidding, I wouldn’t actually leave.”

His jaw dropped a bit and I could see a smile forming on his face as it did mine. He still had his arm around me and I felt butterflies exploding in my stomach. He shook his head and looked away.

“You were so serious!” I laughed as I threw my head back.

“Okay shutup! I just didn’t want you to leave.”

“Sure Mr. Bieber.”

I looked into his eyes and he did the same to me, except I felt like he was staring right through me. I started feeling self-conscious within a minute and I felt like he was leaning closer. Was he? I didn’t know. And I wouldn’t know because the bell rang and we both shot back to reality.

“The pizza.” Justin said awkwardly as he pushed off of the door.

I moved away from the door and put my hands in the back of my short pockets. “Yeah, right, the pizza.” I mumbled.

I was kinda upset that that damn pizza interrupted our little moment, but on the other hand I was glad. I felt like he was staring at my imperfections, not me. I ran into the bathroom when he left the room and looked at myself. I looked horrible. I had paint everywhere and in my hair and it was just not pretty. My hair was a mess and my face… oh god.

I just brushed it off. Maybe Justin didn’t see all of the flaws that I did. Maybe he saw past them. Oh well, either way I couldn’t go home and take another shower, so I gave up. I walked back into the room and grabbed my phone which was freezing periodically from getting followers and people tweeting me. I turned off twitter notifications right away because otherwise my phone would break. There was still a little red bubble next to my twitter which was going to piss me off, and it was all of Justin’s fault.

“Here’s the pizza and I grabbed us glasses too.”

Justin walked in with a pizza in one hand balancing glasses on top of it and a two liter of pop in the other. I scrambled up to take the glasses and pop out of his hands so they wouldn’t fall.

“Justin,” I said as I laughed at him, “I could’ve came downstairs and helped you.”

“No need for that, I got it all taken care of.” He smiled.

We sat on the only non-paint-covered part of the floor and set everything down. We both grabbed pizza and began eating right away. I knew that I was hungry and I could tell that he was too by the way he gobbled down two pieces in less than 5 minutes. I just smiled and stared at him.

“Do I have something on my face?” he asked with a mouthful.

Yep, he was definitely normal, I thought. “No, I was just- never mind.”

He shrugged it off and I laughed at him again. It was funny how he was so normal, and I knew I wasn’t going to get over that for a while. So bear with me while I talk about it every now and then.

We finished our whole pizza, washing it down with Pepsi afterwards. We sat in silence for about ten minutes just staring around outside and at the paint everywhere and just everything.

“I really had a great time today.” I said quietly as I twirled my fingers in my lap.

Justin stared at my hands like he was in a trance, “Me too. Are you going to head home?”

“Yeah, I have to get home before my dad. He’s protective over me when it comes to guys.” I answered as we stood up together.

“But aren’t you practically 18 years old? And how can he if he hasn’t been in your life that much?” Justin questioned.

“I’m wondering the same thing. But last time I was at a guys house back in my hometown, he found out from my mom when they were arguingover the phone once. Then he yelled at me and my mom was forced to ground me for a month. I don’t know if things have changed, and I sure don’t want to find out.”

“Sorry if I’m being nosey.” Justin said as he held out his hand for a second before dropping it by his side.

“No, it’s fine. You’d find out sooner or later.”

He smiled blandly as he followed close behind me to the front door. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my phone from Justin before standing up straight to look at him. I opened the door behind me and stepped out on the patio with Justin.

“So would your dad be mad if I did this?” Justin asked.

I looked at him with a confused expression when I realized that he was leaning in to kiss me. He pecked my cheek lightly and it sent shivers all around my body. I blushed and when he pulled away and I looked away and bit my lip.

“He’d be pissed, but he doesn’t have to find out.” I smirked.

He laughed and put his hands in his pockets. I turned around and walked away, waving to Justin behind me. He waved back and watched me walk away. Thoughts ran through my head as I neared the driveway. He kissed me… and I loved the sensational feeling it gave me.

Just before I was about to cross the street, I turned around and yelled after Justin. “Justin!”

He turned around just before closing the door and his face lit up seeing I hadn’t left yet. “Yeah?”

“Those pictures, post them.” I said confidently.

“I’ll be sure to.” He replied quickly.

I smiled and turned, racing across the street with my heart beating in my chest. I ran all the way up to my front door and inside, shutting the door behind me and leaning against it. I felt so full of butterflies and I couldn’t get the feeling of his touch out of my mind. I pushed off of the door and headed up to my room. I laid down on my bed on my back and thought only of Justin. I couldn’t stop thinking about him and how he looked and just how perfect he was.

I took a shower and scrubbed the paint off of my body. It reminded me of Justin, of course. I was still thinking about him after an hour of cleaning up after myself… that was until I heard a knock on my door. I sat up quickly, my hair falling in front of my shoulders.

“Come in.” I yelled.

My dad walked in with an unhappy look on his face. “Downstairs now.”

“What’s wrong?”

“Just get downstairs.” He said almost in a yell.

I knew this was serious… and I knew it was about Justin. I looked down at my hands as he pushed my door open farther, waiting for me to get up. I got up and folded my arms across my chest, heading downstairs with my dad hot on my heels. I sat down on the couch with a groan and my dad sat across from me, next to my step-mom. I wondered if she had a part in this… probably, and a bad part too. She worked at home and she didn’t have kids, so she was here all day. Fuck, I forgot.

“What do you want?” I mumbled as I looked everywhere but at him.

“I want to know where you were all day.” He said calmly.

“I was at a friend’s house.”

“A friend? Justin Bieber’s just your friend? Look, I know he lives across the street from us but can’t you find a different friend?” my dad begged.

“Yes, Justin Bieber’s my friend. Why do you have a problem with that? Because he’s a guy? He’d my only friend and I’m not giving that up to please you.”

“Well you either stop talking to him, or you’re grounded.”

“What the hell!?” I yelled, “You can’t do that! I’m 17 years old- almost 18! What do you have against him!?”

“He’s famous (YN)! He just wants your body, and I don’t trust him.” His voice rose.

“He doesn’t want my body! We’re just friends, can’t you understand that? And he’s so normal, if you just met him-“

“No, (YN). I’m your dad and I forbid you to see him as long as you live with me. Friends that are boys always become more. I wouldn’t doubt it if he already tried kissing you.”

Red burned on my cheeks as I stood up and clenched my fists. I looked from my step-mom, Clarissa, to my dad who looked calm but mad.

“He didn’t have to try kissing me, he already did.”

I stormed out of the room and upstairs to mine. I couldn’t even stand to see my dad’s face anymore. I was mad, but as I laid in my room, I could hear my dad and Clarissa’s conversation as they readied for bed.

“Matt, she is 17, and she’ll be 18 in exactly a week. You have to let her go sometime, she won’t always be your little girl.” Clarissa said.

“I don’t care if she’s 50, I’m not going to let some douche like Justin Bieber treat her that way and hurt her. I may not have been there all of her life, but I’m gonna be there now.”

I sniffled and used my pillow to muffle out there voices. He was acting so irrational. Justin and I were just friends… for now.
